Once upon a time there was an unruly young lady called Dirty Harriet. Dirty Harriet didn't like boring things. She walked down the streets, and past all the people making their way to work, and she was sad. The streets were so boring, and the people had nothing to look at to brighten their day. Dirty Harriet took out her colouring pens and wrote a little message on a sticky label. She stuck it on a lamppost and hid inside a phone box to wait. After a while, the people walking past noticed the little message. Some of them smiled,and some even laughed. Dirty Harriet was pleased. She now spends all of her time leaving little messages all over the boring cities of the UK.

Dirty Harriet is the creation of graphic designer Helen Askew (~Robin-Goodfellow) and her writer / street art enthusiast sister Claire (*TheObviousChild). Inspired by Edward Monkton and Banksy, as well as sticker-artists such as TrueGenius and Mag, Dirty Harriet's messages are designed to make you smile, frown, stop, think and live.
